#GirlsGovern is a campaign that enables all girls to use their voice to highlight the issues that are most important to them.Adolescent girls and young women can participate by voting on which issues affect them the most and by making a video about the issue that is most important to them as an individual. The culminating event of the #GirlsGovern program, the Town Hall, will gather over four hundred girls from Washington, D.C. and neighboring communities to discuss the issues that they deem most important to them with politicians, journalists, and experts. The event will take place in the Jack Morton Auditorium at George Washington University.
