This training by Planned Parenthood of New York City will explore how to acknowledge and incorporate emotional intelligence into sexual health education programs in attempt to make them more effective and relevant to young people. Trainers will address how to identify emotionally disengaged sex education content, build emotionally intelligent sex education curricula, and apply emotional literacy tools to their work with young people. The content can be utilized by a range of professionals who provide sexual health education or design or fund programs that provide such education.
