Supporting the Whole Girl: An Integrated Approach to Sustainable Development

March 18, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

The CAG and FHI 360 will co-host a parallel event on Saturday, March 18 at CSW61 in NYC. The conversation will focus on our approaches to developing holistic girl-centered resources and programming. We also plan to explore aspects of programming and girl engagement that remain unprioritized, but would really make the difference in achieving desired outcomes and ensuring program retention. As we move into the next generation of girl programming (where funding levels are unpredictable), how do we work towards sustainable development? Should we focus on the ensuring we’ve achieved the right programmatic mix of content (health, life skills, financial literacy) with the right dosage and frequency, or are there other aspects of programming which merit targeted time and resources? Join us at 10:30AM at the Hardin Room of the Church Center of the United Nations for an engaging presentation and discussion.
